Ricerca
My research is divided in two main areas. The first one is related to the field of forensic genetics and personal identification. In particular, I am carrying out population studies, analyses involving DNA extraction from unusual tissues in difficult context such as mass disaster and mass grave, analysis of the human and soil microbiome for forensic purposes.
For years,I have been dealing with gender-based violence not only from a scientific point of view, but also as a lecturer in many training courses for health and law professionals on issues related to the reception and care of victims of violence.
