I am an Assistant Professor (RTDa) in Medieval Philosophy at the University of Salerno, where I teach Philosophy of Science and Logic, and an Adjunct Professor in Logic at the University of Eastern Piedmont.
In the past few years, I was an ICUB Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ontology and Philosophy of Science at the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (2016-18), a Research Fellow in Computer Science at the University of Eastern Piedmont (2013-14), and a Teaching Assistant in History of Political Philosophy at the University of Parma (2012-14). Moreover, I was a Visiting Scholar at the Universities of Graz (2019), Eastern Piedmont (2018), Milan (2017), Columbia (2016), and Durham (2012).
In 2013, I obtained a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Human Sciences at the University of Verona with a dissertation entitled “The Riddle of Reality: E.J. Lowe’s Metaphysics, Ontology, and Philosophy of Mind”.
Currently, my main interests of research include Formal Ontology, Philosophy of Geography, Philosophy of Computer Science, and the Philosophy of E.J. Lowe.
