ACTIVITIES

- Researcher in the Horizon Europe project MOUNTADAPT (EU grant: €6.5 million), supporting the resilient transformation of healthcare systems in mountainous areas.

- Principal Investigator in a project evaluating the health system response to the floods in the Emilia–Romagna region (Italy) in May 2023, in collaboration with AUSL della Romagna.

- Researcher in a project assessing the health system response to the floods in the Valle d’Aosta region (Italy) in June 2024.

- Researcher in a project examining vulnerability management during the floods in the Toscana region (Italy) in November 2023, in collaboration with the Confederazione Nazionale delle Misericordie d’Italia.

- Researcher in two projects on access to care in Afghanistan (2022, 2024), conducted in collaboration with EMERGENCY NGO.

- Member of the coordination team of the CRIMEDIM International Doctoral Programme in Global Health, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Medicine, including the coordination of teaching activities and tutoring of PhD candidates.

- Faculty member of the European Master in Disaster Medicine, jointly delivered by Università del Piemonte Orientale and Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

- Associate Editor of the scientific journal Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness.

- Active member of the association Saluteglobale.it.
